Our hike on April 10th is at Dauset Trails.
Plan to meet at 9:00 a.m. in the Parking Lot at Mayfield Ace Hardware (on Elm Street in Covington). We have permission to park there -- but please park at the bottom of their lot closes to Walgreen's.
If you prefer, meet us at the location below.
After the Hike we will eat lunch at Blind Pig Barbeque.
Distance from Covington: 30 miles.
Start: We will start at the trail head just outside Dauset Trails Nature Center. Restrooms available at the Nature Center.
Trail distance: We will hike about 5 miles.
Trail surface: Natural forest trail. Many tree roots.
Canine Compatibility: Dogs must be leashed on hiking trails. No pets are allowed in the Nature Center area.
Nearest Town: Jackson
Fees: Free parking and free entry
