    TRAIL SPOTLIGHT: The Moultrie Trail

    July 7, 2015

Looking for another successful rail-trail project in GA? Then look no further than the Moultrie Trail (a.k.a. Tom "Babe" White Linear Park) in Moultrie, Georgia. Following a former CSX rail line, this 7.5-mile hard-surface trail not only offers locals and visitors excellent recreational space but also serves as alternative transportation corridor connecting important community resources such as the city's schools and medical centers.

Located in South Georgia, Moultrie boasts a thriving agricultural industry, historic homes, commercial buildings, and a state-of-the-art athletic center. The Moultrie Trail will whisk you from woodlands to streetscapes, or from a quiet cemetery to a busy restaurant.
