April 16th Cricket Frog Trail - Trails and Spirituality: “Walk-with-a-PASTOR” Join area Churches as they gather together to walk and fellowship with each other. Led by Pastor Eric Wendel Lee, Sr., Senior Pastor. of Springfield Baptist Church. Meet at Elm Street trailhead in Covington. Park at the Elm Street parking deck across from the Newton County Administration Building. Address: 1113 Usher Street
April 23rd Turner Lake Complex - Walking with a Purpose: “Walk-with-a-STUDENT” Walk with the Montessori School of Covington and Middle School students as they share their completed Adopt-a-Spot on the Trail. Newton Trails will erect a sign recognizing the achievement. Meet in front of the Montessori School of Covington. We will walk to the Turner Lake Complex. Address: 4108 Summers Street
April 30th Cricket Frog Trail - Walking for Health: “Walk-with-a-DOC” Join Dr. Samira Brown, Piedmont Newton Hospital’s newest Pediatrician as she discuss the benefits of walking with your children for better health. Bring the kids and bike, walk, skate or run. Meet at Elm Street trailhead in Covington. Park at the Elm Street parking deck across from the Newton County Administration Building.
