Cricket Frog TrailThe Cricket Frog Trail runs from Washington Street, just inside the Covington city limits east of Porterdale, to Ziegler Road, just west of Newborn. The mostly-primitive trail travels through historic Covington, Starrsville and Mansfield and past scenic pastures and woodlands. The trail includes four trestle bridges in need of restoration. Closed to public access, the trestle bridges cross the following waterways: Dried Indian Creek, the Alcovy River, West Bear Creek, and East Bear Creek.
